Melt-blown non-woven fabric manufacturing process!

Melt-blown non-woven fabric is a commonly used non-woven fabric manufacturing process, its principle is as follows:

1. Raw material preparation: The raw materials of Melt-blown non-woven fabrics mainly include polypropylene (PP) particles and a small amount of other additives such as stabilizers, antioxidants, etc

2. Melting: Heating polypropylene particles to the melting point (about 165), so that it becomes a molten state.

3. Melt spiral spinning: the fused polypropylene is extruded through the screw of the melt spiral spinning machine to form a continuous fiber bundle.

4. Melt-blowing: the fiber bundle is blown out through the high-speed air flow or nozzle, and the hot air is used to cool the fiber instantaneously during the spinning process to make the fiber finalize.

5. Collection: Melt-blown non-woven fabric are collected and formed into a network structure, that is, melt-blown non-woven fabric

The principle of Melt-blown non-woven fabric is to use the melt fiber to rapidly stretch and grow under the action of high-speed air flow, forming a very small diameter fiber, and then finalize by instant cooling. The diameter of this fiber is usually between 1-5 microns, with a large specific surface area and porosity, so melt-blown nonwovens have good filtration, isolation and moisture absorption properties, and are widely used in medical, health, industrial and other fields.
